QUI S'EN VA (Catherine Le Forestier / Marc Sarrazy - Laurent Rochelle)
Catherine Le Forestier : voix et texte
Toi, tu es comme les chats
Tu joues à qui s'en va – un peu
Jamais tu sifflerais en marchant, toi;
Pas le genre – pas du tout ça ;
J'aime ce jeu ;
Cruels, mystérieux, tes yeux
A la croisée, ah..
Je suis la reine et toi le roi
Du pays qui s'en va
Un peu
Vie brûlante, monde étrange, mon ange
Comment te supporter
Vie brûlante monde étrange mon ange
Toi, tu es vraiment comme le chat
Pacha bleu
Qui s'en va un peu
You give me fever
Sacrebleu
Avec mes nerfs tu fais des nœuds
Ça me rend folle
C'est ce que tu veux ?
Euh.. euh..
Vie brûlante, monde étrange, mon ange
Comment te supporter
Vie brûlante monde étrange mon ange

Born in 1970 in Paris, Marc Sarrazy studied piano and composition since 1976. After some folk-rock experiences in the middle
80’s, he chose jazz since 1989. His style is a combination between a neo-impressionism touch ala Satie / Debussy and free experimentations inherited from European contemporary jazz....more

'Can of Worms' shows how a stunningly wide variety of timbres and textures can be wrought out of a simple duo of keys and clarinet (with a couple of minimal vocal features). This exploration is framed in a moody minor key jazz context that imbues it with a degree of comfortable familiarity. A group that absolutely deserves more attention. eyechoirs

My favorite track is actually either "An Eccentric Introvert In a Study Filled With Broken Mirrors" or "Shape Suggestion", but, then, all of the performances, compositions & arrangements on this album are outstanding. Odd that not all tracks are available for selection as "favorite" when the entire album is streamable. The Execrable Bede
